I'm working on a cookbook about pudding. I'm extremely excited about this fact, but to tell you the truth: I'd ...
I’m Faith and I live in Ohio, where I spend my time reading, writing, and cooking. My daily work is at The Kitchn, where I am executive editor. I have a big dinner table and a sink that’s always full of dishes.
A pudding book in progress…
Puddings are my favorite desserts. Pistachio, butterscotch, maple bourbon. Rice pudding with lemon, Nutella fluff, Thai sticky rice, and homemade fruit jellies — I can’t get enough of this sort of thing. Vanilla panna cotta, icebox cakes made with homemade pudding and graham crackers? They’re all so easy and delicious! (And lots of them are low-sugar and gluten-free too.) And yet, to my surprise, I discovered that there was no all-encompassing book for puddings! How could that be? I didn’t spend long wondering. I’ve been working on a book of nearly 150 puddings and no-bake desserts and it will be out in Spring 2013 from Stewart, Tabori & Chang.
